I am finally recovered from my last attempt at detoxing. Still down 23 pounds depending on the day. I saw some beautiful cabbage and a limited ingredient Kielbasa, and felt inspired.
I used the wellshire 6 ingredient Kielbasa, but you can use any smoked one.
- 1 head of cabbage
- 1 medium onion
- 1 Kielbasa
- 1 tbs olive oil
- Sea salt
- Black or mixed pepper
Slice the cabbage into strips and rinse. I used some vinegar in the water to help with the rinse. Let sit while you prep the other ingredients.
In a large sautee pan place your olive oil and sliced onion in on med heat. Allow to sautee while you slice the Kielbasa in 1/4 to 1/2 inch strips. Add and sautee. Allow the Kielbasa to get a little browned and add your cabbage and seasonings. Cover. Stir every 5-7min until the cabbage is tender.
I made this with a side of rice.
